This is a 12-week, industry-led course for founders who want to build a business with clarity, confidence and longevity.
Created by Slow Coach Studio, the course brings together decades of real-world experience across retail, product, brand and online business, alongside sessions with carefully selected industry experts. It’s designed for founders who want more than generic business advice, and who value depth, perspective and practical intelligence over hype.
This course fills a clear gap in the market. Much of the business education available to small founders is either broad and theoretical, or narrowly focused on one area such as marketing. What’s often missing is joined-up, industry-informed thinking: how brand, product, pricing, marketing, selling and systems actually work together in a real business
While our background is rooted in fashion and retail, the course is not limited to fashion founders. It’s suitable for any small business built primarily around an online website, particularly product-led brands where trust, quality and long-term customer relationships matter. We also explore the relationship between online presence and real-life connection, and how to use both with intention.
The course runs over 12 weeks, giving you time to absorb, apply and reflect, rather than rushing through content. You’ll be learning alongside a small cohort of other founders, with space for discussion, shared experience and connection, as well as guided teaching and practical exercises.
Who its for
Slow Coach Studio is for exisiting small, independent businesses who want to grow, but are often navigating that growth alongside uncertainty, overwhelm or a sense that they are making it up as they go. Many founders come to retail from adjacent or entirely different industries, bringing vision, values and ambition, but without the benefit of industry grounding or inherited knowledge.
Our role is to offer steady perspective, informed challenge and reassurance. To help founders trust what they already know, ask better questions, and make decisions with greater confidence and clarity. Drawing on more than four decades of combined, current industry experience, we act as sounding board, guide and, at times, devil’s advocate, supporting businesses to become not just bigger, but more sustainable, more financially resilient and better to work within.

Rather than skimming lots of topics, we focus on the key building blocks that underpin a sustainable business, including:
• Brand foundations and positioning
• Product, pricing and commercial thinking
• Marketing and visibility, without noise or burnout
• Selling with integrity, both online and in real life
• Email as a long-term growth and stability tool
• Website essentials that support clarity, conversion and confidence
All teaching is grounded in lived industry experience, not theory alone.

How the course works

• Six core learning phases delivered at a considered pace

• Sessions with selected industry experts, bringing specialist insight where it matters most
• Small cohort for meaningful discussion, shared learning and connection. We limit the size of each cohort to ensure depth over noise, and to maximise the quality of the discussion for those involved.
Course Dates + Timings
The course runs for 12 weeks, from wk commencing Wednesday 15th April to Wednesday 2nd July
Live weekly sessions
There will be one live session each week. We strongly encourage you to attend live wherever possible, as this is where discussion, shared learning and connection really come to life.
That said, we know life and business don’t always run to plan. If you’re unable to attend a session live, all sessions are recorded, and you’ll have full access to catch up in your own time.
Getting started: discovery + preparation
Once you’ve booked your place, you’ll be invited to:
• Complete a short pre-course questionnaire, helping us understand your business, challenges and what you want to get from the course
• Book a 30-minute one-to-one discovery call with us ahead of the course starting, so we can get to know you properly and ensure you’re supported from day one
This helps us shape the cohort and conversations in a way that’s genuinely useful for everyone involved.

Pricing and tiers
The course will be offered in three tiers:
• Early bird £1,700
A limited number of places at a reduced rate for founders who commit amount ahead of the course starting in the Mid-April.
• The Programme £1,950
Full access to all course content, live sessions, cohort discussions and industry expert contributions.
• Premium Package £2,150
Includes everything in the Standard tier, plus two one-to-one Power Hour sessions with Nicci and or Leigh. (Individual sessions are normally valued at £150 each.)
Power Hour: A 60-minute open conversation to sense-check ideas, talk through challenges and get clear, experienced guidance. No prep required, just honest discussion and practical direction.
